❊ activities
-
The high-energy heart of The Adventure Club. Think climbing, archery, forest school, obstacle challenges and taster sessions from local sports and activity clubs, all clearly marked by age so families know where to jump in.
It’s a place for coaches, outdoor leaders and adventure providers to bring their best ideas, give kids a go at something new and show parents what’s on their doorstep all year round.
-
A softer corner of the site where everyone can exhale. Expect gentle movement, yoga, breathwork, baby and toddler sessions, calm spaces and SEND-aware support to help reset tired bodies and busy minds.
From local therapists and wellbeing practitioners to parent-and-baby groups, this is where people who care for families come together to offer simple, grounding ways to feel better.
-
Tables full of things to build, paint, stick, sew and tinker with. Families can dip in and out of crafts, nature art, simple STEM projects, storytelling and small-scale theatre without needing to book or commit to long workshops.
Artists, makers, facilitators and creative clubs use this space to share hands-on activities that spark ideas and quietly introduce what they do the rest of the time.
-
The soundtrack to the day: live bands, DJs, family discos and movement sessions at family-friendly volumes. You might find little ones bouncing at the front, grandparents dancing away, or people just enjoying the atmosphere from a picnic blanket.
Musicians, DJs, choirs and dance leaders can use this stage to run upbeat, inclusive sets and workshops that leave families knowing where to find them next.
-
Good coffee, simple comforting food and treats that work for small appetites and hungry grown-ups.
Local flavours, veggie and vegan options, kid-friendly portions and a few well-chosen indulgences.
It’s a calm, busy patch where independent food and drink businesses can serve a relaxed, appreciative crowd over the course of the day.
-
Our village green for the people and projects that quietly hold up local families. Here you’ll find clubs, play schemes, youth groups, perinatal and mental health support, SEND services and community hubs you might not have discovered yet.
It’s a friendly, low-pressure space where charities, CICs and community organisations can have real conversations, share what they offer and help families find support that carries on after the festival.

Seriously! But don’t take our word for it, here are some things people have to say about us.
The kids were free to roam and explore, giving us a chance to catch up with friends.
It felt safe, with loads to do, but no pressure to stick to a schedule - the perfect place to relax as a family after a busy school year.
— Dan. M., Parent
“
What a gorgeous weekend in nature, my girls loved the forest school and panning for gold - their medals are still hanging up in the kitchen.
Family yoga was a highlight for us, we went each morning.
— Lucy R., Parent
“
We had such a lush time dancing with the kids…We go to a lot of festivals as a family, and this was the first time it felt like the whole weekend was truly for kids - not stuck in a kids area. They tried so many new things - I can’t believe they went on the massive zip-line!
